My Saturdays are quite routine; I would wake up quite late to pay revenge on my lack of sleep throughout the week. I would then have breakfast, and indulge myself in making bank deposits to the bank branch in my bathroom.
Afterwards, I’d usually end up in my favorite chair in my room; listening to some of Hillsong’s music and getting ready to read my daily bible.
As I was reading the bible, my mind wonders off — I was focusing on why in the past couple of days, my phone battery drained so fast.
Then somehow, I looked at my phone and saw the weak signal on both wifi and telcom connection. And boom, there it was, it was like God saying when you have poor connection with Him, you energy will get drained easily.
Without your daily conversation and prayer to God, you will get tired and exhausted facing your daily life.
No matter how many times and how often you charge your phone, with poor connection your battery will get drained so fast and you will end-up with low battery.
I wonder sometimes, how my phone would last whole day long without getting to less than 80% …. it turn out that I was working inside my office with Wifi Access-Point on top of me causing a full Wifi connection to my phone.
No matter how long you sleep, how often you exercise, how often you spend going on a holiday to relax yourself, how much vitamin you swallow or sustenance you eat — you will easily get drained again and feel exhausted without your strong connection to God.
So no matter, where you are and who you are, keep your strong connection with God by prayer and reading your bible daily … You will feel energized and ready to face whatever battle you need to face.
As I am writing this, I have to face two biggest battle in my life — but worry not, all I have to do is show up on the battlefield, since God Himself will fight for me.
Exodus 14:14 NIV
The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Psalm 91:7 NIV
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
Jeremiah 29:11
NIV For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
